About The next generation of Florida boxing talent will be unearthed in the presence of legends, as Real Fun Entertainment presents the inaugural Sherman ‘Tank’ Williams Novice Championships.
Williams is both a long-term resident of Florida and a proud son of the Bahamas, representing both communities on the world stage over the course of a thrilling 22-year career as a heavyweight contender. He has since carved out a new career as a respected coach, and has always been a staunch advocate of grassroots, youth and amateur boxing.
Accordingly, his legacy is being honoured with his name branding these new USA Boxing-sanctioned championships, which are to be decided at this annual event.
Fans in attendance are guaranteed an afternoon of top quality, next-generation boxing, as well as a chance to mingle with the stars of the state, past and present – Williams, Antonio Tarver Sr and Jr, Jose Ocasio, and more.
