South East Asia Fighting Championship is back, and returning to the roots of its founder with an all-MMA card set to rock the Thai capital.
After three previous iterations that showcased a range of fight sports to widespread critical success, SEA FC founder Nicholas Lee – himself a decorated veteran of the ring and the cage – is focusing on mixed martial arts as his promotion stages Homeland on April 22.
Nine keenly matched international contests will unfold at BigBox in central Bangkok, a venue steeped in history for SEA FC and Lee, who started his promotional career there.
The main event is a keenly awaited featherweight affair between the formidable Indian contender Kushal Vyas and Singapore-based US veteran Majee Overall, with an undercard featuring the best of rising talent from Asia and beyond, including popular names such as Kristof Kirsch, hot prospect Simon Stracey, Toby McNerlin and the undefeated Jordan Frenna.
