Venue World Siam Stadium, Lad Phrao Road, Bangkok, Thailand
Date December 16, 2022
About With the rising popularity of bareknuckle fight sports worldwide, it was perhaps inevitable that Thailand’s ancient noble art of muay Thai would come to the fore.
Bareknuckle boxing has become a major international attraction in recent years, while leth wei has emerged on to the global stage, but muay Thai’s emergence into the gloveless arena might prove to be the most exciting of them all.
Blazing this trail is Mongkol World Championship (MWC), which will stage the world’s first bareknuckle muay Thai promotion, on December 16 in Bangkok, headlined by an inaugural MWC title fight between Italian veteran Super Vico and Jesse Morgan of the United States.
This action-packed event, emanating from the World Siam Stadium and in partnership with SEA FC, will also feature a stacked undercard featuring the region’s most fearless warriors in the new sport of bare knuckle muay Thai, as well as several traditional muay Thai, boxing and MMA contests, and the hybrid “extreme contact” format.
