FIGHT CIRCUS 5 🗓 🗺

November 24, 2022 by

Sports MMA, muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, martial arts

Venue Illuzion Nightclub, Phuket, Thailand

Date December 17, 2022

Dear readers, take note: where you see “*”, please delete as appropriate, depending on your stance on Fight Circus.

Fresh off the most critically acclaimed/reviled* combat sports event in history, Fight Circus returns quicker than Tangmo can throw a ‘no mas’.

OK, not quite that quickly.

Fight Circus IV, on November 5, delivered fireworks in a part of the world that doesn’t celebrate Bonfire Night, so it’s only fitting that the Buddhist kingdom of Thailand should also play host to The Twelve Fights Of Christmas.

Emanating/excreting* from Illuzion Nightclub in Phuket on December 17, Fight Circus 5 promises even more inconsistency than its own approach to the use of numbers in sequel names, but those who appreciate things like order, punctuality and rules have never been welcome in this house.

So, what should we expect? It would be a cliche, and inappropriately predictable, to say “the unexpected”. But history suggests it will be a mix of established oddities such as Siamese kickboxing, human cockfighting, Indian leg wrestling and handicap MMA matches, plus whatever exciting/excruciating* formats the imaginative/exploitative* minds/bowels* of the Fight Circus team can dream/throw* up.

Whatever you do, make sure to tune in/switch off*. Up to you.
