About Combat Matrix is, put simply, a social network for fight sports. It aims to connect athletes, matchmakers, companies and more, eliminating the need for middlemen.
First and foremost, the aim is to ease the path to making good contests, but CM will also serve to put athletes in touch with relevant organisations, potential sponsors, journalists and each other. Whether you want to create alliances or enemies, CM can make it happen – and trash-talking is most definitely encouraged!
Founded by MMA veteran and UFC alumnus Tommy Hayden, CM also promises a more open-minded approach to record-keeping. In an attempt to get around the chokeholds applied to MMA and boxing by the established records websites, CM believes all full competition should be recorded, regardless of politics, business and other considerations that ultimately only hold back the competitors themselves.
CM combines the passion of fans with the honesty of fighters to offer a neutral, free-speech platform for anyone involved in combat sports to achieve their goals.
