Bio As pro boxing had not yet been established in India, multi-decorated amateur Tej Singh relocated to Australia when he started punching for pay in 2012.
After a haul of medals across state, regional and national levels, Singh was a hot property upon turning pro Down Under.
Coached by one of Australia’s finest trainers, Gerry Murphy, and based out of Melbourne, Singh quickly forged a formidable reputation in his adoptive homeland.
The boxer known as ‘Tejmania’ duelled with some of Australia’s finest middleweights and super-middleweights – including Faris Chevalier, Peter Kariuki, Jake Carr, Sam Soliman, Renold Quinlan and Isaac Hardman – and won both Australian and WBA Oceania championships.
Ten years on from his much-anticipated debut, Singh has relocated again. He is now based in Los Angeles and looking to push forward with the next step of his promising career.
