Bio English teenager Towl is British boxing’s youngest ever world champion.
Clearly,’The Blonde Bomber’ is in a hurry – she turned pro on September 4, 2020, at two months shy of her 18th birthday, having amassed an amateur trophy cabinet groaning under the weight of its contents, including five national championships.
On precisely the first anniversary of her pro career – and in only her fourth contest – she claimed the WIBA world featherweight title, stopping Cristina Del Valle Pacheco in one round. Towl was just 18 years, 10 months and three days old.
Towl defended the WIBA belt six months later, stopping Jamileth Vallejos in five rounds, and has added more titles to her ledger – namely PBC European, PBC Intercontinental and Jane Couch British Challenge honours.
Achieving so much in such a short time – she is currently 9-1 (6) as a pro – shows why Towl is regarded as one of the best and most exciting young boxers in the sport.
With Britain already buzzing about The Blonde Bomber, Towl showcased her talents on the international stage, with a tough defence of her WIBA title in Australia on September 3.
On that night she dropped the honours to Beck Hawker, but it was a contest considered a fight of the year candidate, and one that demonstrated both Towl’s ”fight anyone, anywhere” mentality and her enormous potential.
Accolades WIBA world champion, PBC European champion, PBC Intercontinental champion, British Challenge champion
NEXT FIGHT TBA LAST FIGHT vs Wendelin Cruz, September 17, 2022
