Bio One of his country’s most experienced, versatile and decorated martial artists, Dzummya Ebale is looking to strike out internationally as he pursues world championship glory in MMA.
The “Mountain of Zion” from Cameroon began training in combat sports 10 years ago as a ferociusly ambitious teenager, quickly finding his forte as a formidable grappler who excelled in the arts of sanda, sambo and wrestling.
Multiple national championships followed in all three codes, before Ebale honed his skills to fit in with the surging popularity of MMA. A 30-fight amateur career, in which he amassed a 90% winning record, paved the way for the pro career he has now embarked on, with titles in his sights.
Ebale has already appeared in the rings and cages of some of the best promotions in Africa, and is now eyeing opportunities to showcase his skills across the world.
“I train day and night, under the sun or in the rain, to achieve my goals,” he says.
All he needs now is a chance to make his hard work pay off.
