Bio Already channelling his inner Italian Stallion as a wrestler, Anthony Patanella got his break in boxing thanks to Frank Stallone – brother of none other than Rocky himself, Sylvester Stallone.

Patanella was grappling under the monicker Tony Balboa, entering the ring to the Rocky theme in the guise of a boxer and otherwise hamming it up as an Italian-American archetype, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.

One day he came to the attention of Frank Stallone, who alerted Patanella to the thriving celebrity boxing scene and suggested this would be an ideal way for the “Jersey Bad Boy” to enter the world of boxing for real.

With the blessing of the famous Hollywood family, he rebranded himself Anthony Stallone Patanella and set about doing battle with rappers, actors, YouTubers and even some real boxers.

While Patanella built an impressive record on the celeb circuit, including winning two championships, he also proved his pugilistic credentials were legit by fighting his way to the semi-finals of the New Jersey Golden Gloves tournament.

Now, the “Italian Gladiator” is aiming to climb the highest mountain of all as he launches a long-awaited assault on the pro boxing ranks.

Accolades Celebrity Boxing Federation champion, World Xtreme Entertainment champion, New Jersey Golden Gloves semi-finalist, IWF American title challenger
